Kiril Marichkov () (born October 30, 1944) is a Bulgarian rock musician. Marichkov was born in Sofia and played piano, clarinet, bass-guitar and guitar since young age. In 1963 he founded the first Bulgarian rock band "Bandaracite" (???????????) and in 1967 the most popular Bulgarian rock band ever - "Shturtzite" ("The Crickets", ???????). For now almost forty years Kiril Marichkov is invariably a frontman (solo vocal, bass guitar and keyboards) of the band. He has also composed a large part of their songs, which approximate 160, in fourteen albums. Almost all of the hit albums of the band are his compositions. Shturcite have performed over 2600 concerts in sixteen countries.
