Kokomo Arnold (15 February 1901–8 November 1968) was an American blues musician. Born James Arnold in Lovejoy's Station, Georgia, Arnold received his nickname in 1934 after releasing "Old Original Kokomo Blues" for the Decca label; it was a cover of the Scrapper Blackwell blues song about the Kokomo brand of coffee.Entry at the [LINK: http://www.aaregistry.com/african_american_history/1514/Kokomo_Arnold_Georgia_bluesman] African American Registry, retrieved November 15, 2007.
