Lanfear (LAN-feer) is one of the primary antagonists of the Wheel of Time fantasy series by Robert Jordan. She is one of the Forsaken. Mierin Sedai Before she became Lanfear, Mierin Eronaile was an Aes Sedai from the Age of Legends. She was described as being exquisitely beautiful in appearance, and most men in the series remark on her exceptional features before anything else. She is as tall as most men, being only a hand shorter than Rand al'Thor. Her hair is long and black, her eyes large and dark, and her skin milky white. Mierin worked at the Collam Daan, the greatest university in the world, and was respected by her peers, yet she did not manage to gain the honorary third name which defined prestige in the Age of Legends.
