"Last Train Home" is the second single from Start Something, the second
album by the Welsh rock band Lostprophets. This single is the band's
highest charting to date (along with "Rooftops ") and one of their most
successful songs. The band refused to release the accompanying music video
to MTV's Total Request Live, however, realising it could seriously damage
their credibility among serious American rock fans, and thus make it harder
for the band to establish a long-lasting career and loyal international fan
base. The song was featured in the soundtrack for the original NFL Street
soundtrack. To date, the single is the only one from the band to be a
number one, reaching that feat in the USA Modern Rock Tracks chart.
