Lord Belial is a Swedish black metal band from Trollhättan, formed in 1992. Lord Belial left their old label No Fashion Records in 2002 when the label refused to release the song "Purify Sweden". The song contains controversial topics about strong Swedish patriotism relating to war and anti-religion. It was later released as a vinyl single under a different label named Metal Fortress Entertainment. The band's current label is Regain Records. From Angelgrinder and onwards, the band has incorporated a strong melodic death metal influence.
