Lovedrug is an indie rock band from Canton, Ohio, formed in 2001. Biography Since Lovedrug's formation in 2001, they have released two full-length albums and three EPs, all of which have been released through the record label The Militia Group to whom they are signed. The Lead Singer, and main song writer , Michael Shephard was quoted as saying "I think the one influence that drives me to this day, is trying really really hard, and failing horribly , at attempting to look like Thom Yorke in our Spiders video. It haunts me to this day. I could never fake the eye right." He was also reportdly brutally beaten by the band System of a Down at Coachella music festival, for playing a Takamine acoustic guitar as his main instrument.
