History Love Equals Death is a punk rock band out from Petaluma, California. The band was formed on Halloween night, 2003. The band currently consists of Chon Travis (vocals), Ryan Sinn (bass), Tonio Garcia-Romero (drums), and Duffs (guitar). Love Equals Death has toured extensively, including tours with bands such as AFI, Pennywise, Tiger Army, NOFX, Strike Anywhere, Avenged Sevenfold, TSOL, and The Distillers (who Ryan Sinn also played bass for). Love Equals Death has released two EPs?Hucklebuck and Four Notes on a Dying Scale?and an album, Nightmerica, which was produced, engineered, and mixed by Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore. 2007-present In late March 2007, bassist Dominic Davi was arrested on rape charges in Philadelphia (the alleged crime occurred in June 2006).Calif. punk-rock bassist charged with Phila. rape, Mari A.
