Manny Ward (born 1968, in New York City) is a famous House DJ, remixer and record producer. DJ In 1985 he began his career at the NCO club on Cannon Air Force Base. After leaving the US Air Force in 1990 he returned home to New York City and took some time to get reconnected to the New York house music scene. He did opening up for DJs David Morales, Shep Pettibone and Frankie Knuckles, and these opening spots helped him become known. Inspired by the sound of Junior Vasquez, Frankie Knuckles and Timmy Regisford he started fulltime DJing. His career began to take off when his friend and mentor Frankie Knuckles took him on as his protégé in 1991. David Morales and Danny Tenaglia also helped him. From 1992 through 1996 Manny opened Fridays at the Sound Factory Bar and played the "deep room".
