Marques Barrett Houston (born on August 4, 1981) is an American R&B singer and actor. Houston's third album, Veteran, was the number one R&B album in the country and Number 5 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Early life Born in Los Angeles, California, Houston and his Immature members attended the same Brentwood school. They decided to enter a talent show together where they were discovered and signed on to Hook Management. Their parents were not sure if this was the right option for them because of their age.
