Michael Cerveris (born November 6, 1960) is an American singer, guitarist and actor. Biography Early life Cerveris was born in Bethesda, Maryland to a professor of music father and a dancer mother.http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Star_File.aspx?ci=36192 He is a 1979 graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and a 1983 graduate of Yale University. Acting career The star of multiple Broadway shows, Cerveris has played roles ranging from Tommy in 'The Who's Tommy', Thomas Andrews (designer of the R.M.S. Titanic) in Titanic: The New Musical to John Wilkes Booth in Assassins. He took part in the musicals Fame, The Apple Tree and Spring Awakening, and earlier in his career appeared for a few scenes as singer in the movie Tokyo Pop.
