Monty Are I (formerly known as Monty's Fan Club and Monty) is an American post-hardcore band from Cranston, Rhode Island. Monty recently won Takeover Records' Sign My Band contest on MySpace [LINK: http://www.myspace.com/signmybandcontest] [1], but ended up signing to Stolen Transmission records, an imprint label of Island Records. They also won the Ernie Ball sponsored Battle of the Bands in 2003.
