Mystic Prophecy is a power metal band from Germany. They have been described as having a similar sound to US-power metal, such as bands like Iced Earth (due to the riffing), but still without losing the melodies of "European power metal". Formed by Valley's Eve bandmates R.D. Liapakis and Martin Albrecht. Gus G. was recommended to them by David T. Chastain. He played all guitars on the three first albums, but left in 2005 to spend more time on his other band Firewind. Satanic Curses, their fifth album, was released in Europe through Massacre Records on October 23, 2007, and in the U.S. via Locomotive Records on November 11.
