This article is about the thrash metal band, for the explosive anti-personnel device, see nail bomb Nailbomb was an industrial/thrash metal band. The band formed as side project by Max Cavalera of Sepultura and Soulfly, and Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel and Theory of Ruin. Together they recorded one studio album on Roadrunner Records called Point Blank and played one live performance before disbanding. Nailbomb hosted other musicians to play guest spots, including D.H. Peligro (Dead Kennedys), Igor Cavalera (Sepultura), and Dino Cazares (former Fear Factory guitarist). Nailbomb's second album, Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide, was a live recording capturing the band's appearance at the 1995 Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
