Nil Karaibrahimgil (born 1976 in Ankara), also popularly known as simply Nil, is a well known Turkish artist and composer. Nil's passion and admiration for music stems from her father; Suavi Karaibrahimgil, who is also a musician although he is not currently active in the Turkish music industry. Biography In 2000, she graduated from Bo?aziçi University with a degree in International Relations. She also further received the Crystal Apple prize award twice, which recognized her achievements in advertising, which she studied as a minor. Besides academic success, Nil has found fortune in the Turkish pop music scene. Having been trained as a composer has given her the ability to synthesize Western and Arabesque elements.
