P-Money (real name Peter Wadams) is a hiphop DJ and Producer. He is from Papakura, one of Auckland's major metropolitan areas, located on the southern boundary of Auckland City. P-Money's initial entry into the music industry was via DJ competitions and student radio. He won turntablism competition the New Zealand DJ Championship three years in a row, and in 2001 ranked third equal at the Technics DMC World DJ Championships.His single Stop The Music also reached the top 10 of the Australian ARIAnet singles chart in April 2005.
