Posguerra ("Post-war") is a Colombian punk band from Medellín, Antioquia, formed in 1991. One of the band's characteristics is their lyrics that talk about ecology. History Though Posguerra officially begins in 1991 the history of the band starts in 1987. The friends Jhony Rivera, Juan Andrés Cárdenas (guitar) and Wilfer Estrada, still going through their high-school studies, decide to form a band called Psiquiatría ("Psychiatry"). This band ends in 1989 when Wilfer has to leave to military service. In 1990 Jhony and Juan Andrés begin to compose new songs preparing to continue doing music when Wilfer returns. In 1991 Wilfer ends his military service and joins with his friends to continue doing music together, so they form Posguerra, with Wilfer in the vocals, Juan Andrés in the guitar and Jhony in the drums.
