Raimundos is a brazilian Hardcore Punk band with influences of Forró and bands like Dead Kennedys. It was formed in Brasilia, in 1987 by Digão and Rodolfo Abrantes.The vocalist Derrick Green of Sepultura participated of CD Kavookavala and João Gordo Of Ratos de Porão participated of first album Raimundos (1994) with back vocals at the song MM's.

Origin of the name

The name of the band refers to one of its biggest influences, Ramones.
