Ramin Djawadi (born 1974 in Duisburg, Germany) is an Iranian-German composer of orchestral music for film and television. His father was an immigrant from Iran. Djawadi has been widely credited as a composer for additional music, orchestrator and as an assistant composer to Hans Zimmer on movies such as Batman Begins and The Curse of the Black Pearl. His work as a music composer for films include Trinity (with RZA), Ask the Dust, Open Season, and Mr. Brooks.
