Raxola was a Belgian punk band spawned by the legendary Bastard, which also brought forth The Damned (through Brian James) and Elton Motello (through singer Alan Ward). Their debut album (1978) is now a collector?s item . Its CD re-mastered reissue has sold thousands of copies in Japan and hundreds in the USA. After a period of eclipse, Raxola enjoyed fame again following bootlegged compositions such as ?Bloody Belgium? and ?Bloodstains across Belgium? which was distributed worldwide in 1998. Much appreciated for their rough pop punk songs and their somewhat socially and politically committed lyrics, Raxola has returned to the limelight, urged on by their fans.
