    Revolverheld
    revolverheld is a German rock band. It was initially called "Manga" and was founded in summer 2003 in Hamburg. In 2004 they renamed the band to "Tsunamikiller" only to rename it to the current name (German for gunslinger) after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. Band History revolverheld began its career as a supporting act of Donots, Silbermond and Udo Lindenberg. It first started gathering public attention with its song "Rock n' Roll", which then lead to a Coaching Program in the Pop-Academy Baden-Württemberg. Then in 2004 it signed with the record label Sony BMG. Its first single called "Generation Rock" was released in June 2005 and directly entered the German Charts. The song is featured on the video game Legends of Rock. Together with the producer Clemens Matznick its first album (revolverheld) was produced, and came out in September 2005.
