Richard Chartier (born March 29,1971, Arlington, Virginia, USA) is a sound/installation artist and graphic designer. Chartier is one of the key figures in the current of reductionist electronic music sometimes described as microsound: a form of extreme minimalism in which the music is sometimes very quiet, sometimes very sparse, often both.
