Rimortis is one of several Czech power metal and speed metal bands, it has
been formed in late 1998. Throughout the years it has become a fairly
popular group which seems to be well known by the fans of power and speed
metal genre.
Biography The band Rimortis was born in late 1998 although at that time
the role of vocalist had not been filled in yet. Soon in 1999 the fourth
member of the band - vocalist and bass guitarist in one - joined in and
from than on, the group consider themselves as officially established.
The name Rimortis was derived from an old latin female name.
Throughout the years there has been a fairly intense fluctuation among the
members of the band - only one of the present members has been with the
band from the very beginning - nevertheless the band seem to have matured
into a group that is well known within the audience of its genre. This can
