Biography Rinkadink

Rinkadink is the artist name used by Werner "Vana" Van Jaarsveld, a South African producer of psychedelic trance, more specifically of a subgenre known as South African psytrance. Rinkadink's tracks features rapid tempos, intense basslines, and unusual electronic sounds. He manages to deliver expressive, well timed music sets, always consistent, a rocksteady flow of tortions and twists constructing and de-constructing, the kind of sonic mandala you can only get from years of experience and a hard grip on the technique.In addition to a corpus of single tracks appearing on various compilation albums, he's also authored two albums.Rinkadink is living in Malaga, Spain, at the moment, and is occasionally rocking balls at underground parties on some not-so-well-known beaches in the area. If you are lucky enough to catch him at one of these things, it is not the sort of experience you will forget too quickly.

Rinkadink has also collaborated with DJ Spencer (under the name Flaming Hoons), Shane Gobi (under the name Whiplash), Mike Modular and Fromem Ory.
