Robbie Nevil (born Robert S Nevil, 2 October 1960, in Los Angeles, California) is an American pop singer-songwriter / guitarist. Career Nevil has 2 brothers, Alex and Chris Nevil, and a niece Andrea Nevil who live in Los Angeles, California. Andrea currently goes to Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California. Nevil's self-titled debut album in 1986 gave him a string of Billboard Hot 100 hit, although his subsequent albums were not as successful. He is best remembered for the song "C'est La Vie," a #1 dance hit that spent two weeks at #2 on the Hot 100 in early 1987. Between 1986 and 1991, Nevil recorded three solo albums, the self-titled first being the most successful. It was produced by Alex Sadkin and Phil Thornally and recorded in England.
