Saathiya (Devanagari: ??????, Nastaliq: ??????; translates as Partner) is an Indian drama/romance movie which was released on December 20 2002. Rani Mukerji, Vivek Oberoi and Tanuja star in this movie. It was Shaad Ali's debut as director and the soundtrack was composed by A. R. Rahman. It was the remake of a Tamil movie, Alaipayuthey (2000) directed by Mani Ratnam. The story is told in flashback. The film was screened at the Casablanca Film Festival.
