Sash! is a German DJ / producer team, fronted by Sascha Lappessen (born on 10 June, 1970, in Nettetal, Germany), who works in the studio with Ralf Kappmeier and Thomas "Alisson" Lüdke. Career Sash! had a string of hits in the UK in 1997-1998 with "Encore Une Fois", "Ecuador", "Stay" and "Mysterious Times", all of which peaked at #2 in the UK singles chart. In fact, they hold the record for having the most #2 UK singles (a total of five), without ever reaching #1. They are still active today, but with less success. Their last album was never released in the United Kingdom. Sash! have always been acclaimed for their unique ability to create popular dance hits incorporating the music style and language of a particular ethnic group.
