Scorched is a 2003 independent film starring Alicia Silverstone, Rachael Leigh Cook, Woody Harrelson, and John Cleese. Plot Three mischievous employees (Paulo Costanzo, Woody Harrelson, Alicia Silverstone) of a bank in a small desert town all make plans to rob it at the same time; however, none of them knows about the others. Meanwhile, a clothing store employee (Rachael Leigh Cook) has plans for revenge against a local millionaire (John Cleese). While all of this is going on, Doleman, a jobless loser, is applying for jobs and has very little hope. The film begins with the end of the plot, with Doleman showing up for his first day of work at a local bank that has just been robbed and getting fired instantly for no reason.
