Senses Fail is a Ridgewood, New Jersey based band that draws heavily from the punk, screamo, and hardcore genres. Their main influences are Jimmy Eat World, Fairweather, Grade, The Promise Ring, Jawbreaker, Saves the Day, Thursday, and The Get Up Kids. History The history of Senses Fail starts with Garrett Zablocki, in 2002 recruiting members through an advertisement on the Internet a year before the formation of the band. The current singer, Buddy Nielsen, read the article and Garrett brought his friend Dave Miller from a band he had played with previously.
