Sibel Can (born August 1, 1970) is a popular Turkish pop folk singer.In recent years she has also become popular in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Trinidad and Tobago, Armenia, Russia, Syria and Iran. Biography Sibel Can became a dancer at the age 14 and later started her singing career. She has been known as one of the most successful and powerful singers in Turkey. Rise to Success & Marriage Sibel first rose to fame as she started off as a professional belly-dancer hired by Fahrettin Aslan, to perform at the Maksim Casino.
