This article is about the band. For the self-titled album, see Skambankt . Skambankt (Beaten to a pulp or beaten up) is a Norwegian Hardcore band from Klepp, just south of Stavanger. They play a mixture of classic rock'n'roll, punk and hardrock in the tradition of bands like Motörhead, AC/DC, Sex Pistols, Ramones and The Stooges. All the lyrics are in Norwegian, and they convey the real spirit of punk: against the state, against the system, against corruption, capitalism, monitoring, religious fanaticism, and generally hate and treachery. To put it simply, against everything. The band was founded in 1994 already. The line-up was Ted Winters at guitar and vocals, Don Fist at bass, and Hanz Panzer at drums.
