Priest Joseph Brooks better know by his stage name Soopafly, is an American hip hop producer and rapper from Long Beach, California. History Early Exposure Soopafly was introduced to mainstream listeners in 1996 on Snoop Dogg's second studio album Tha Doggfather. He was featured on the song "You Thought", along with Oakland rapper Too Short. Since then, he has been featured primarily on albums by local artists such as Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Tha Eastsidaz and RBX. Otherwise, he has remained rather low key and has released two solo albums to date. Recent years In July 2006, Snoop Dogg put together a group called Westurn Union featuring Soopafly, Damani and Bad Lucc.
