Spaced Out is an animated series that aired 2005. It was co-produced by several companies and television stations, among which Alphanim and Cartoon Network Europe. Spaced Out has aired in Europe (mostly on Cartoon Network), but not in the USA. It may parody elements of The Jetsons, which also features a four-member family (once even Cartoon Network themselves did a promo for the series with the opening music from The Jetsons synchronized with moments from Spaced Out). The show is currently canceled. Synopsis The series revolves around a family (called the Martins) living in a regular neighbourhood. George Martin applies for a job in the apparently monopolistic company Krach Industries. Although they do not intend to hire him, his application is accidentally blown by the wind to the heap of selected candidates.
