The Allman Brothers Band is a band from Macon, Georgia, labeled by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as "the principal architects of Southern rock."[LINK: http://www.rockhall.com/hof/inductee.asp?id=57] Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee page for the Allman Brothers Band. They have been feted for their live performances.
