    The Arrows were a three piece Anglo-American band, based in London, England. The group was formed in 1974, and disbanded in 1978. They are best known for writing and recording the first released version of the well known international rock anthem, "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," in 1975. Biography The band was made up of singer Alan Merrill, guitarist Jake Hooker and drummer Paul Varley.They had hit singles in 1974 and 1975 with "Touch Too Much," "My Last Night With You" and "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," all produced by Mickie Most on RAK Records.
