The Atomic Bitchwax are a stoner metal band. Formed by Chris Kosnik and Ed Mundell in December 1992 in Long Branch, New Jersey, the band has a heavy psychedelic sound. Roughly half of their songs had vocals and the rest were instrumental. In 2003 Ed Mundell was replaced by Finn Ryan of "Core" on guitar and in 2007 welcomed Bob Pantella on drums following the "Boxriff" tour in late 2006. Kosnik and the current line up are recording the next full-length "Bitchwax Four"(working title)in Feb 2008 at "Trax East Studios" in South River N.J. for a Spring release.
