    The Dead 60s are an English rock band from Liverpool, and were previously known as Pinhole and earlier Resthome until they changed their name in 2003. The band · Matt McManamon - Vocals, Guitar · Ben Gordon - Guitar, Organ · Charlie Turner - Bass Guitar, Vocals · Bryan Johnson - Drums The band's sound is a mixture of punk rock, ska, funk and reggae. They draw a lot of influence from The Clash,The Specials, Gang of Four and King Tubby. History The band begun as Pinhole and was managed by Shifty Ryder. The band released 2 CDs before taking a break to refine their musical direction. They emerged from their hiatus with a new sound and a new name: The Dead 60s. As Pinhole they went on tour with Green Day and recorded a session with John Peel at the legendary Maida Vale studio's, they reached number 8 in his festive top 50 songs count down in 2002. The
