The Holloways are a four-piece indie-rock band from North London. Their first single "Two Left Feet" entered the charts at number 33 in July, with the follow-up "Generator" charting at number 30 in October 2006. Generator subsequently named the NME's 16th best song of the year for 2006[LINK: http://www.nme.com/reviews/tracks/oftheyear] [1], their album So, this is Great Britain? was released on October 30 2006 on the TVT label. The band have attracted attention in the media and a live following.NME have also tipped them to be one of the biggest bands around in the future. The band formed in a live-music venue called Nambucca on the Holloway Road in 2004.
