The Summer Obsession is a pop punk band from Jacksonville, Florida, United States. The band consists of Lucien Walker, Christ Miller, and former Good Charlotte drummer Chris Wilson. The band has previously been on tour with bands such as The Click Five, Cartel and Monty Are I. Their description of themselves are "feel good rockers". This Is Where You Belong is their debut album released in August 2006. The band has opened for Mya on a Simon mall tour. They have also appeared on Cartoon Network's Fridays and performed the songs
Melt the Sugar,
Disappear. Founding guitarist Fin Leavell has since left the band. A recent message from the band's myspace states that they are currently working on a new album and will start recording soon. They also made a remake of version of Tom Petty's "Free Fallin".
Music videos
The band has two official music videos for songs "Do You Remember" and "Death Said". Both videos include the band. A more theatrical version of "Death Said" was created by indie director Austin Sabattis and was featured on the band's MySpace for several months. It has since gained cult success on YouTube
