    The Trash Can Sinatras
The Trash Can Sinatras, now generally known as Trashcan Sinatras, are a Scottish band that was formed in 1987. Background The band's largest worldwide hit single was "Obscurity Knocks" taken from their 1990 first album Cake. The follow-up I've Seen Everything was released in the UK, USA and Japan in 1993, followed in 1996 by the UK-only album A Happy Pocket. The song "Hayfever"(1993) from I've Seen Everything made an appearance on the MTV animated series "Beavis and Butthead". After their record company Go! Discs folded in 1996, the band continued to record and play live, issuing various CDs and demos via their website. The band has especially been well regarded by fans and critics alike for its complex wordplays played against pop harmonies. The loyal band of fan followers helped keep the band afloat until a Scottish Arts Council grant helped finish the most recent 2004 album.
