The Upsetters was the name, originating in the 1960s, of the house band for Jamaican reggae producer Lee 'Scratch' Perry, who himself was known as The Upsetter - a name reputedly given to him by Coxsone Dodd in the days when he used to set up Dodd's sound system. The Upsetters Mk.1 were Gladdys All-Stars, led by pianist Gladstone Anderson and it was they who originally recorded the international hits 'Live Injection' and 'Return Of Django'.
