Biography Think Floyd

Think Floyd
Think Floyd are a British tribute band to Pink Floyd, who specialises in creating an authentic and 'full' Floyd sound, often playing a complete version of The Wall at live shows.

The band plays annually at the Lindos Floyd Festival in Lindos, Rhodes, in Greece, a small village where the members of Pink Floyd spent their spare time.

History

Think Floyd were formed in May 1994. They played their first gig at the Pie and Kilderkin in Forest Hill, South London. After playing many pubs and clubs around the South East coast of England, they commenced to playing in smaller theatres and larger clubs, spreading their wings to other parts of the UK and beyond.

In 1997 they decided that it was time to write their own material and set themselves apart from the standard tribute bands.

Think Floyd's first album Hope was released in 1997. The Roger Waters Fan Club in California USA wrote of this album:

Think Floyd Hope is one of the most fantastic albums I have ever heard, I can't stop listening to it, these guys are extremely talented, Hope is a work of genius. Every Pink Floyd fan owes it to themselves to own a copy.
