Biography


Adam Forkner (b. 1976) is a musician from Portland, Oregon. He is the sole member of White Rainbow. He was a founding member of Yume Bitsu, Surface of Eceon and World. He also co-owns and operates Yarnlazer, a small independent record label with Honey Owens. White Rainbow White Rainbow is Forkner's solo work. "ZOME" was recorded in 2003 with members of the group Landing . It was released on States Rights Records in late 2005 . "BOX" was a 5 CD + 1 DVD boxed-set released by Marriage Records in early 2006. The DVD included collaborations with video artists E*Rock and Alex Hubbard as well as live footage White Rainbow's site-specific audio/video performance/installations. The installation art piece "White Rainbow Full-Spectrum Vibrational Healing Center" was featured at the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art's 2005 Time Based Arts Festival (PICA TBA 05), at the Machine Projects Gallery in Los Angeles
