Yppah (pronounced "Yippah"), aka Joe Corrales, is an electronic music
artist signed to Ninja Tune records. He currently resides in Houston,
Texas.
His early teen years were spent playing guitar and bass in rock bands, his
later ones as a scratch DJ who mixed hip hop and house in club sets, and
was part of a turntablist group called "The Truth".
His music often mixes in guitars through massive delays, keyboards and
loops sampled from real drums and other techniques.
His first album, titled You Are Beautiful at All Times, was released in
2006 on Ninja Tune records. [LINK:
