Zoroaster (Greek ??????????, Z?roastr?s) or Zarathustra (Avestan: Zara?u?tra), also referred to as Zartosht ( ; Kurdish: ), was an ancient Iranian prophet and religious poet. The hymns attributed to him, the Gathas, are at the liturgical core of Zoroastrianism.
