Zonk is a dice game similar to Farkel. There are several versions of zonk. In one version, sometimes called "Detroit-style," the game is played using 6 dice. Another version, called "Chicago-style," is played with 5 dice. Score can be kept in a designated zonk notebook, preferably a composition notebook, or score sheets can be torn out and stored in a designated folder. Variations normally arise from the creation of new house rules (a practice which is encouraged). Purpose Zonk is a smoking game for two or more players, but has also been used as a drinking game for those who choose not to smoke. The goal of the game is to score points and pass certain thresholds for which the player is rewarded with hits (or drinks). Each player's cumulative score is kept, and the game is won by the player who lands directly on 10,000 points or rolls through 13,000 points first. Getting Started One person must be design
